Mt Norquay is Banff’s closest ski resort and is celebrating its ninety first year of operations. Long known as a family fun destination, Norquay has a great variety of terrain. Perfect for beginners looking to develop their skills, ranging through to some of the best steep expert terrain with the World Famous Lone Pine overlooking the beautiful Town of Banff. Norquay’s Tube park is the largest in Alberta and from the dedicated tube lodge, guests can rent snowshoes and explore trails through lodgepole pine that open up to incredible vistas of Banff and the mountains of Banff National Park.

Calgary – Norquay is Calgary’s closest Banff resort. At 112 km (69 miles) from the Calgary City limits, Norquay is a short 1hour drive on the trans Canada Highway. Head west on Highway 1, then take the second Banff exit, turn right on Mt Norquay rd. and you’ll be skiing or riding in under an hour.

Banff – 6 km from Downtown Banff on the Mt. Norquay access road, follow Lynx Street that turns into Mt Norquay Rd, crosses the Trans Canada and continues to Mt Norquay.
